ANTIOCHEIA ANCIENT CITY
The capital of the Pisidian region Antiocheia was founded between 282-262 B.C. by Antiocheia who was a descendent of Seluocid dynasty and the city was named after its founder. In 25 B.C., when Augustus founded the first and the biggest military colony in Pisidia region, he had the city reconstructed as a Roman colony.
